Code for Sustainable Homes

Code for Sustainable Homes is a nationally recognised standard used to assess the environmental performance of new build residential units and aims to acknowledge improved environmental performance in the design of homes. The scheme considers nine categories and includes mandatory standards within certain key categories. Individual units are awarded one of six code levels (stars) at both the detailed design stage and on completion.

SRE, an experienced licensed Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor Organisation, advises clients building to all CSH standards on the most cost-effective measures, thereby ensuring that the highest rating can be achieved for the lowest capital costs.

SRE also provides independent and professional advice on a number of BREEAM methodologies and SAP Assessment.
